Tired but definitely fulfilled. 😊

My takeaway from today is that verbalizing real stories and bringing them up to a certain level of consciousness among people is essential to everyday coping and, in some way, cathartic to both ends (both the story teller & the listener).

When somebody says thank you because the talk was personal to her as she grew up in a similar circumstance, and today was an assurance that she was not alone, fighting, you feel that renewed fire to keep the advocacy alive.

There is definitely hope for the flowers. 🙂🌻

The whole dynamics of it is fascinating and deeply moving.

And it sure was worth the work leave. 😆😅
