Up early today because I’ll be off to the office to work.

And I’ve realized, while drinking coffee, that September has gone so fast I did not realize that today is my brother’s birthday already, and mine’s waving at me happily from the next weekend somewhere.

And I realized too that all the plans I’ve plotted for my birthday weekend would have to be changed because of some things at work that I still have to finish.

And honestly, I really wish I was doing something else today. Haha.

But yeah, getting old has taught me to be grateful for the things I have and not be very much frustrated with things I do not have yet, or those I really cannot get for myself or those I cannot change all together.

But I try.

I try every single day to walk towards the things I really dream of and wish for, one little step at a time, however harsh the changing landscapes are.

So yeah, cheers to getting older and wiser and happier.

And happy birthday to my awesome brother. 🎂🎉🍻💕
