If there was any fault to it,
It was only that she didn’t tell him how much she loved him.

And he knew,
Oh God, he knew.

But they went and walked different ways, anyway.

And if there was any other fault to it, (just one other) —
It was also that he actually loved her,
Oh God, he loved her.

And she did not know,
She never knew.
