XII.
she looked over at the horizon,
as she was seated by the glass windows showing the airplanes.
new city, new things
she was thrilled, she was scared too.
she was twenty six.
the sun was setting now and the whole sky was a bright orange,
maybe that was what she was to expect of her life now — bright, new and orange.
nice.
but in that sea of faces that surrounded her,
there was just one other face she wished to see,
just one other.
but she had accepted the fact that perhaps she won ‘t see it again,
perhaps not in this lifetime.
she scanned that sea of faces again, closed her eyes and smiled —
— new city, new faces, new things,
old heart.
some things never really change.
