i have always been fascinated by stars.

when i was little, i used to lie by the playground slide in our front yard, and with flashlight in hand, look for the actual constellations in the sky, as illustrated in my favorite book – sky and earth.

i did that every single night, and how or when that life episode ended, i could not remember. haha.

and until now, each time i feel kind of ‘in the dark’, i just look up and gaze at the stars, to find solace from those childhood friends who never really went away.

and as the song goes, i hear them sing…
